Fraser Island Wilderness
FRASER'S THE IDEAL ENVIRONMENT FOR EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We think one of the secrets to a successful meeting is providing a stimulating environment. And here's where Fraser Island ticks another box!
In addition to its stunning surrounds, Fraser's diverse range of fauna is simply awe inspiring. The island's famous purebred dingoes are a source of fascination for visitors and their partners - who sit eagle-eyed on day tours and expeditions across the island - waiting for a picture perfect moment.
Plus every August through November Humpback Whales begin their migration south after breeding in the Whitsunday waters - and meet in the warm waters of Hervey Bay (on Fraser Island's sheltered lee side) - one of only two places in the world where they do this. A trip to Platypus bay, where they commonly congregate, is just a short cruise from Kingfisher Bay Resort.
These magnificent creatures are so curious and will often come up to the whale watch boats for a spot of people watching - it's tonnes of fun for your team! Plus the ocean spray, sea breeze and humpback song can help delegates think outside the square.
Just another reason to meet on Fraser!
